Would definitely recommend Gibson's, which is one of the finest Steakhouses anywhere and a sister to the original Gibson's on Rush St. in Chicago.

Just bring an appetite, as everything they serve comes in huge portions. And don't be afraid to share. Whenever my wife and I go, we usually each order a steak and then split any sides and dessert. Even the baked potatoes are big enough for two.

Carlucci's is nice. Morton's nice...and pricey. I haven't eaten at Gibson's, but hear it's good.
Nice? What about Pizza? Giordano's is nearby - one of the best pizza places in Chicago.
I also recommend Gibson's. Cafe la Cave is a short hop away and kitchy but fun. www.cafelacave.com. You can also try the French cafe in the Hotel Sofitel called Chez Collette.
Gibson's is right next door!
