Notice how there are no real specs that would let you know how they perform?

No frequency response.

No crossover points.

No Sensitivity/efficiency.

They're not even video shielded for christs sake!

Only complete tools buy Bose, no less at $1,200.

Your best bet it to pair GREAT speakers with a good subwoofer and receiver. Go internet only and you'll cut out the middle man.

For a few dollars more than the Bose crap you get very good entry level gear that will not only sound like a million buck, it will also retain some resale value compared to the Bose stuff.

You can also put together a $500 system that will destroy the $1200 bose setup in any audio benchmarks.

Why do people buy Bose? Because the commercials assured them that they sound great!

Bose sells their crap in dedicated "Bose Rooms", this means that you cant do side by side comparisons with other manufacturers stuff, HELLO!

Why do you think they do that? Because they will lose that comparison!

There are literally hundreds of manufacturers out there that sell stuff that sounds better and is cheaper that Bose.

Take a Saturday and audition several different systems, stay away from the Big Boxes, youre going to be living with those speakers for a long time.
