Crutchfield and Radio Shack sell crap and most of their employees don't know the difference between Ohms and Amps. I have found ALOT of information at www.partsexpress.com They sell speakers, enclosures, crossovers, crossover parts etc. They also have several books and software packages that help determine the best size speaker box for a given set of speaker parameters, crossover slopes, loudspeaker design theory, etc. Check them out and order a catalog as well. You will get monthly flyers with a different project in it with part numbers from the catalog.

There used to be lots of kit companies who would sell you parts to do this, but now adays decent home theater speakers are so cheap, it is probably not worth your time %26amp; money. However, you can buy drivers and crossovers from Radio Shack, or www.crutchfield.com
