That is really up to the movie theatre and whoever owns it. Some chain movie theatres switch out their movies fairly regularly, but if a movie is doing really well in on theatre it can stay there for however long the theatre manager wishes. I have seen movies come and go as quickly as a week, and as long as two months. There is no set date.

Sometimes a theater is contractually obligated to show a film for a certain amount of time. If a film does really poorly, it can usually be pulled without any penalty.
